Where in the world...

Ok, it has been a really long time since my last Blog post. We all fall off the horse one time or another. I wanted to share what’s happened over the last several months.

First Ever 3 Week Vacation

In March, my wife Linda and I took a long vacation (3 weeks!) to Australia and New Zealand which included a week on the Dave Koz Cruise which was amazing. We never take a vacation this long and this extended break was rejuvenating.

Here are a few pictures of our amazing time in Australia and New Zealand.

We both love Smooth Jazz and this was a week-long cruise with 12-15 hours of live music each day from some of the World’s biggest Jazz stars including Dave Koz, Tower of Power, Peter White, Candy Dulfer, Gerald Albright, Richard Elliot, Rick Braun, and comedian Tommy Davidson to name a few.

We met an amazing Australian artist who is literally a one-man band. FingersMitchell Cullen is an amazing 12 string guitarist as well a multi-instrumentalist, having mastered the didgeridoo, slide stomp box, harmonica, percussion, and banjo. He also is a singer/songwriter. He loops the different instruments and layers the music together to create really amazing songs.

I encourage you to check out his music. We really enjoyed his music and getting to know him. I heard he could be coming to the United States in 2020.

Inspiration 

Always looking for inspiration in all art forms and mediums. This is a famous Lane in Melbourne for graffiti artwork called Hosier Lane. It was about 500 yards of amazing artwork on both sides of the lane.

Our House Sold!

While we in New Zealand our home in Houston finally sold and when we arrived back home on April 1^stwe had to scramble to downsize and get ready to move to a smaller Condo in Hollywood Florida. The months of April and May are one big blur dominated by packing and getting rid of almost 2/3 of furniture and items we collected over the years.

When You’re Sad – Party!

Two days before the movers came to load up everything we had a “Hugs & Tears - Our House Sold” party to say goodbye to some very dear friends and neighbors. We had been in Houston for over 11 years. We were so blessed to have our great friend Tom Braxton share some going away music. He played the most moving version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” I’ve ever heard.

Now we are settled in our new home in Hollywood, Florida and this is my view each day when I take a break from helping businesses clarify their marketing so they can help more people get the solutions they need.

Now that we are settled I am committed to sharing great resources and content with you on a more consistent basis.

Also, I am working on some projects that I am really excited about and will share more about them later this week.
